Tim Allardyce
Tim has spent seven years training as an osteopath and physiotherapist and in February 2005 he set up Addington Palace Osteopathy and Physiotherapy Clinic. He specialises in treating elite athletes and currently his clientele includes Olympians, Football Internationals, and World Champions. He has a reputation for developing good athletes into elite athletes, and also works with European Tour Golfers. During his spare time (which isn't very much), he enjoys competitive sailing.
Mark Archer
Mark qualified from Brunel University in 2003, he then took a position within the NHS where he quickly specialised as a musculoskeletal therapist. He has experience with a wide range of injuries/conditions, and has the added advantage of having injured nearly everything in his body during his younger years as a sportsman!
Mark has also worked with the private sector for some time, initially self-employed travelling to client’s homes to treat. He then started to deal with local rugby players/teams and athletes.
More recently he has been associated with the England Women’s RFU, London and Southeast Divisional RFU, top eight English trampoline competitors, and national/international martial artists.
Mark is also interested in the academic side of physiotherapy, having had research published in ‘physiotherapy’ journal, and has started delivering lectures to various groups about assorted topics regarding physiotherapy.
Martin Bull
Martin has 8 years experience working with rugby players within semi-professional rugby clubs and professional footballer’s, men and women at premiership level.
Previously to joining our team, he worked for 5 years for the N.H.S as a community physiotherapist, and then worked in a large private clinic in Kent.
His areas of interest are treatment and management of sports injuries and neck, shoulder and back pain.
He also has an interest in biomechanical assessments, gait analysis and has gained valuable experience working with podiatrists who specialise in this field
Martin played tennis/table tennis to county standard and semi-professional football. These days he is less competitive and concentrates on maintaining his fitness levels and participating in light sporting activities such as cycling, swimming and golf.
Stuart Wardle
Stuart gained his MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton where he studied for five years and then went to work in the NHS treating orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. He also has a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, which sparked his interest in sports injuries and their treatment and has led to him working for a variety of sports teams including Reading Rockets Basketball and, currently, Crystal Palace FC where he is head physio for the academy players.
Stuart also has a special interest in spinal and shoulder disorders and injuries affecting younger athletes. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM) which keeps him updated on new research and development in the area.
Stuart is a keen sportsman and can be found playing a high level of hockey during the winter months and cricket and tennis if he can find some free time in the summer! He is a friendly and approachable therapist who will work hard to get the best possible results for every patient.
Richmond Stace
Richmond specialises in the treatment and management of a number of painful conditions, particularly those that persist. He spends most of time treating individuals suffering with ongoing spinal (back and neck) pain, arthritic complaints, whiplash injuries, tendinopathy, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, and chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Having previously worked in sport, and in both NHS and private practices, Richmond has witnessed a wide variety of conditions, across a wide age range. He also works as an editor for the Physiotherapy Pain Association, writing articles on injuries and pain relief. He is currently undertaking research into Achilles tendinopathy. Richmond is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), the Physiotherapy Pain Association (PPA), the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP) and the Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
Faith Cripps
Faith qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007 after completing an MSc at the University of Essex, and since this time she worked in a large hospital and in a private clinic specialising in musculo-skeletal injuries. Prior to undertaking the physiotherapy training she also completed a degree at Loughborough University in Sport and Exercise Science which is where her passion lies in the Sports Injury and Rehabilitation.
Faith’s other interests are with those who sustain injuries at work or are recovering from operations and accidents. She has worked with elite performers and promising young footballers both within the clinic and out on the pitch. She is also a member of the Association of Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine and regularly attend lectures and seminars to aid treatments and assessment skills.
She is also an accomplished athlete, and has previously represented England in the Heptathlon at U21 level. However nowadays she tends to stick to netball and the early Sunday morning jogs!
